Kodachi has been independently developed and funded since 2013. For more than a decade, all infrastructure and services were paid for privately and offered free of charge. Paid plans were introduced to ensure long-term sustainability and continued development, while remaining competitively priced compared to similar platforms.
Core Principle
Kodachi does not limit features, performance, or functionality by plan.
All users receive the same binaries, the same capabilities, and the same software stack. The only difference between plans is infrastructure density and isolation.

Only commercial, professional, or organizational use requires a paid subscription.

The 2-hour daily limit applies only to dashboard access, not the operating system itself. This ensures fair usage of shared infrastructure and dashboard services across all free users.
The OS remains fully functional at all times. You can continue using Kodachi normally: run tools, work from the terminal, and perform all operations even after the dashboard session ends. The limit is purely about dashboard usage on shared resources, not about restricting the OS or its core functionality.
